The Caulfield Beats – Heading South (Gecko Chamber Remix)
The day starts and ends with an open window, curtains pulled back.
The infant sun pushing my eyelids open with the early morning, and wise stars letting them rest towards snooze-times as their sheer multitude confuses the senses. It’s the unfathomable nature that deciphers all wake time, all sleep time and essentially the part of my life so far that is black and dreamy, the part of your life that is white and focused.
To have such significance in routine, it is in itself extremely significant. Nature determines fate.
Then I start to get those insecurities that suggest I’m thinking things too big for my boots. Big daunting socks to my little boots. These socks however suddenly become all blurry and novel-looking as they move with the backdrop of trotting, sturdy-feeling, shoulder-moving rhythm. Sturdy rhythm is the subject matter of this post.
Two concise interpretations to some originally brilliant songs.
Both Seams and Enjoyed can be found playing at the Star and Garter, Manchester on 15th June… So no excuse not to go if you’re in England.
The Caulfield Beats are a project standing belovedly on our A Pocket Full of Seeds Presents, head over for more info.
